And just why would Jimmy Carter be smiling right now? Why, that would be our Capitulator in Chief, Barack Obama. I was only alive for a couple months during the Carter years, but I know enough history to be confident in calling his Presidency an abysmal failure. Enter act two.

There are some striking similarities between the Obama administration and the Carter administration. In November of 1979, the American embassy in Iran was stormed by, in my opinion, the founding fathers of modern islamic terrorism. American hostages were held for 444 days in rooms with no windows, suffered like no stray dog should be treated, and were stripped of their dignity. Jimmy Carter dithered and capitulated and was solely responsible for weakening our military to the point that we couldn't even get a few helicopters in the air. Projecting weakness in the name of liberal guilt didn't work out all that well then and in the face of the cancerous evil that event produced, it certainly won't work now. PBS lapdogs, revisionist liberal historians, and the Carter library can try and spin it all they want, but it is no coincidence that all remaining hostages were released minutes after Ronald Reagan (God rest his soul) was sworn in. Why? Strength beyond strength and death before dishonor, that's why. I digress....

So what do the events of today's handling of the islamic problem by Dr. Utopia and his lead dog-washing law enforcer say about the state of our Republic? Weakness. The very same weakness that Jimmy Peanuts thought would enlighten an archaic cult of blood-thirsty murderers (read, muslims.) Palestinians don't want a two state solution, they want to destroy Israel. Iran doesn't want to negotiate on its nuclear ambitions, it wants to destroy Israel and by extension, a few major American cities. Al Qaeda doesn't want peace, they want to kill everything they see. So why does their rhetoric go unchecked when strong counter rhetoric would at the very least slow the process of certain mass murder these rats are planning? Why is the President of the United States figuratively cuffing the balls our enemies while simultaneously bankrupting our Country? As if it couldn't get any worse, enter act three:

I thought Scott Slade (WSB's morning radio newsman) was fucking with me when he announced that the mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks will stand trial in a CIVILIAN court in NEW YORK CITY. If Eric Holder was aiming for some kind of symbolic "justice", he really screwed the pooch on this one. As if flying Air Force One through Manhattan for a photo op was the dumbest, most disrespectful thing this President has done, he is now granting non-citizen terrorists Constitutional rights. My head is still spinning from this. How in the world could the leader of the free world be that fucking out of touch? Now New York will have to suffer an insanely high terror watch along with the Judge, Prosecutors, Personnel, and their families. What better time to launch another islamic terrorist attack then while their 9/11 terrorist buddies are on trial there? What about the residents? The families of the fallen? Did the President or anyone in his administration think for a minute how they would feel having these war criminals stand in their city once again in a show trial where they can foster even more hatred against America and her allies? Is it even remotely fair that these monsters are getting a civilian trial like any petty thief would get? If Eric Holder is hellbent on having these terrorists in New York again, fine. Have them convicted of war crimes while still in Cuba and sentenced to spend the night in an FDNY station of their choice. THAT is justice. Don't give me the rule of law argument. As a libertarian-minded American, I believe that any American, regardless of how heinous his crime, should receive his right to a trial by jury, a defense attorney, and due process. But these animals are NOT AMERICANS. They don't have the balls to be Americans. They are the farthest thing from being an American as you can get. They are terrorists, war criminals, pigs, and any other disgusting noun your brain can fathom, but they are certainly NOT Americans! They do not deserve, under any circumstance, Constitutional rights.

Then we have self-proclaimed "Soldier of Allah" Nidal Hasan. This fuck-bucket of disaster in waiting finally snapped and killed 13 of our finest and wounded countless others. He snapped not because he's insane, but because his religion compelled him to. I have never seen the media (minus Fox news) be so reluctant to call a spade a spade. They bent over backwards to not call his motive what it was, jihad. How much more proof do you need than countless witness testimony of him screaming "Allah Akbar!" while killing American Soldiers. When does the PC train stop in Commonsenseville? The only positive angle that came out of this was Sgt. Munley put some lead justice into this cowards spine and he is now crying because he is paralyzed. Nice shooting Sergeant. I hope the bullets from your service pistol are causing this sore on humanity writhing, relentless pain. You deserve a medal sister, and I really mean that. And just what did our brave Community Organizer in Chief have to say about it? "Don't rush to judgment". What? Don't rush to judgment? Kind of like you not rushing to judgment when Sgt. Crowley legitimately arrested Professor Gates for being disorderly and you immediately said he acted stupidly? You can't even muster the intellectual honesty to call Nidal Hasan an extremist, let alone what he really was, an islamic terrorist. Yet, anyone taking time out of his or her day to protest your bloated, big government policies is an extremist, right? Or our warriors coming home from their tour of duty are potential domestic terrorists and/or extremists according to your douche bag of a homeland security secretary, right? I am officially upgrading my displeasure with your governance from thoroughly disappointed to absolutely disgusted. To paraphrase Rush, you are out of your league and completely in over your head.

So like Jimmy Peanuts, Obama is showing a plethora of weakness that we will all have to suffer the consequences for. Is this the change you voted for? Is this the America you grew up in? If history is indeed repeating itself, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope we have enough of our Republic left when we get there.
